Arda is a knitted fabric that mimics the complex natural shapes, structures, surfaces, and colors found deep in the wilderness. It is part of a design project called Design by Nature, led by Sofia Lagerkvist and Anna Lindgren from the Swedish design studio Front.
Arda is made to minimize its impact on the natural environment it mimics. It is primarily made from natural wool yarn—a renewable raw material—using an innovative manufacturing process. Compared to conventional methods, this technique reduces water consumption by 80 to 95 percent.
Arda is ideal for both commercial and residential use.
Composition: 70% WO, 21% PES, 9% PA

abrasion resistance: 50,000 DIN EN ISO 12947-2, pilling: 4-5, surface volume: 800 g/bm, flame retardant: yes, washable up to 30 °C
