First we choose with our eyes, then with our touch. With Fort fabric, these two senses are complemented very well. The natural organic color palette with mossy softness brings well-deserved comfort. Fort is a unique fabric made from 81% recycled fibers, using 12 PET bottles per meter that would otherwise be part of a pile of waste. Crevin’s innovative fiber processing technology has a positive impact on the environment and sets new standards for sustainable development. The fabric is highly abrasion-resistant, strong, and surprisingly very pleasant to the touch.

The characteristic feature of Fort fabric is the combination of bouclé and chenille yarns. Chenille gives it a velvety feel thanks to its higher pile, while bouclé breaks up the optical regularity with its characteristic loops and knots. Fabrics with a higher pile are subject to shading (mapping) and possible pile shedding. Fort combines the beauty of organic surfaces with modern weaving technology characterized by high durability and easy maintenance. Regular maintenance is required to maintain long-term stability.
